Don’t Go Into Debt
“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.”
Proverbs 22:7
This may seem like a no-brainer, but it is an important precept for living a happy, healthy, wealthy life.
Debt is the number one killer of your hopes and dreams. It keeps people working at jobs they hate, which makes them and those around them miserable.
I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to cringe every time the phone rings or someone knocks on the door, wondering which creditor it is this time.
I know what it’s like to lose a house, a car, and a business. And I know what it’s like to live on twenty-five dollars a week, eating beans and struggling to pay the electric bill.
I also know the freedom of being debt-free with a six-figure bank account and a seven-figure net worth.
Having the ability to buy whatever you want, whenever you want, is absolutely exhilarating.
