Do you know the difference between wisdom and knowledge?
Wisdom comes from knowledge; knowledge comes from experience.
For instance, you probably know that if you touch a hot stove, you get burned.
Did you learn that by listening to your parents (wisdom) or by touching the stove (knowledge)?
If you listen to wisdom (the experience of others), you can avoid getting burned.
If you don’t, or won’t, listen to wisdom, you’ll end up getting burned more often than not.
